Job Summary
Managing a sales territory of existing accounts within the Food Manufacturing space, the full-time Virtual Account Representative will engage with customers through sales calls to achieve assigned sales quotas, secure re-orders, and develop new business opportunities, all while working remotely from home.
Key responsibilities
- Engage with customers via phone, email, and video conference to understand their business goals and identify growth opportunities
- Monitor buying patterns to secure existing business re-orders and manage a pipeline of new product opportunities in Salesforce.com
- Uncover competitive pricing intelligence and customer pain points to negotiate and win new business
Required qualifications
- 1+ year of sales experience in a B2B environment with a High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with food or nutra chemical ingredients is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop successful business relationships
- Proficiency in digital tools including Microsoft Suite and CRM platforms like Salesforce.com
- Well-honed listening and problem-solving skills to address customer needs effectively
