Job Summary
A multicultural translation services company has an open position for a Virtual American Sign Language VRI Interpreter.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Answering inbound VRI sessions in a timely manner
- Interpreting between American Sign Language (ASL), and/or English
- Assisting clients with basic troubleshooting
Position Requirements Include:
- Maintain, as applicable, compliance with any national, state, or local licensure and/or certification requirements
- Maintain a flexible work schedule to meet the 24/7/365 demands of VRI
- RID CI, CT, CI/CT, CSC; or NIC, NIC Advanced, NIC Master
- Familiarity working in a windows environment
- Adhere to the RID Code of Professional Conduct
- At least 5 years of interpreting experience
