Job Summary
A cloud computing services provider is searching for a person to fill their position for a Virtual Application Security Engineer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Performing penetration tests and security reviews for core applications and APIs
- Hunting for security flaws in the software powering the edge
- Developing custom software to test, monitor and enforce security across our applications
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Experience with threat modeling and web application security assessments
- Experience applying security engineering practices
- Experience with a variety of security testing methodologies
- Experience with secure networking best practices
- Experience with exploiting memory corruption issues in Internet protocols and edge services
- Development experience using C/C++, Python, Go and/or Ruby
