Job Summary
Software company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Virtual Assessment Specialist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Driving assessment creation to build tests that are reliable, valid, and engaging for students
- Recruiting, training, and supervising item writers
- Managing schedules, invoices, and contracts, ensuring that test development projects are completed on time and within budget
Position Requirements Include:
- Ability to create high-quality, high-stakes language assessments for the adult and/or K-12 market from the ground up
- Knowledge of domestic and international language standards and frameworks and language tests
- Master’s degree in second language acquisition, applied linguistics, language assessment, education, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in language assessment with increasing responsibilities
- 2+ years of experience managing the work of contract item writers
- 2+ years of experience teaching French, German, Spanish, Italian, English or another language as a second language, to children and/or adults
