A staffing company has an open position for a Remote AWS and Java Consulting Software Engineer in Henrico.

  • Developing code that is scalable, maintainable, efficient and elegant
  • Enhancing existing applications and platforms to meet user needs
  • Developing and/or reviewing technical specifications and documentation

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Skilled Consulting Software Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience
  • 2+ years of migrating legacy full-stack applications to modern stacks
  • IT Bachelor's: Computer and Information Science
  • Must be full stack
  • Demonstrated experience using Java 8, Spring 4/5, Spring Boot 1/2
  • Oracle database experience; experience with Git and GitFlow philosophies
