Job Summary

An IT and service provider is in need of a Virtual AWS Azure Cloud Database Administrator in Austin.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Developing, managing and testing installations, upgrades, replication, backing up and recovering of current databases
• Assisting with upgrading, installing, and configure monitoring solution for AWS for Windows and Linux servers
• Collaborating with Cloud Architects to provide operations and migration services

Qualifications Include:

• Travel 10% of the time
• A solid understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
• Very strong and solid experience of database administration in a cloud environment
• Experience working with load balancing technologies and large scale web server farms
• Strong OS and application scripting skills
