Job Summary

A data analytics company needs applicants for an opening for a Virtual Back End and Infrastructure Software Engineer in San Mateo.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Developing an analytics API for internal and external use
  • Benchmarking a GPU workload across AWS and GCP instances
  • Implementing geo-based load balancing of our core product

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Must be comfortable building large-scale infrastructure from the ground up
  • Must have years of experience shipping mission-critical code
  • Programming-language- and paradigm-agnostic
  • Python, Docker, PaaS-on-Mesos/Kubernetes, microservices experience
  • AWS Lambda, Mesos frameworks,“serverless” architecture experience
