Virtual Bankruptcy Paralegal

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Virtual Bankruptcy Paralegal to assist attorneys with bankruptcy matters in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and file Chapter 7, Chapter 13, and Chapter 11 bankruptcy petitions and related documents
• Assist with hearings and 341 Meetings of Creditors, including preparation and coordination
• Communicate with clients, trustees, courts, and creditors to manage case progress

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 3 years of recent bankruptcy paralegal experience across Chapters 7, 13, and 11
• Experience with Chapter 11, Subchapter 5 is a strong plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and legal case management software
• Experience with bankruptcy software such as BestCase
