Job Summary
A language service company is in need of a Virtual Bilingual Amharic English Video Interpreter.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Interpreting between source and target language with accuracy, clarity, and transparency
- Providing excellent customer service and professional on-camera presentation
- Following all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes
Skills and Requirements Include:
- At least two years of Telephone Interpreting and/or Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) experience
- Professional Medical Interpretation Certification (State Certified, NBCMI, CMI, CCHI, Bridging the Gap, etc)
- Native level proficiency in English and Amharic
- A high-speed internet connection and quality internet enabled camera
- Superior professional linguist skills and professional live video presentation
- Access to a quiet work-space in a video neutral environment (good lighting, neutral background, no visible outside distractions)
