Job Summary
A company that offers translation services is in need of a Virtual Bilingual Swahili Video Interpreter.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Exhibiting professional behavior at all times
- Providing effective video remote interpreting service for consumers
- Participating in ongoing quality assurance and call monitoring program
Position Requirements Include:
- Fluent in both the source and target language - Swahili and English
- Must have at least 2-5 years of community/medical interpreting experience
- Credentialed in medical interpreting
- Certifications such as those endorsed by NCHI and NBCMI - CCHI or CMI respectively
- Extensive knowledge of code of ethics and standards of practice
- Familiarity with the medical profession and its privacy laws
