Job Summary
A provider of education solutions needs applicants for an opening for a Virtual Business Education Teacher in Portland.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Delivering specified course content in an online, virtual environment
- Conferencing with parents, and responding to student messages in a timely manner
- Tracking student progress and helping students stay on pace
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Teaching certification for 6-12 required
- Oregon teaching certification in Business Education with experience teaching that subject
- 3 years or more of classroom teaching experience with one year of online teaching
- Must meet highly qualified teacher requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other online tools
