Job Summary
A healthcare company is filling a position for a Virtual Cancer Programs Information Specialist.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Maintaining working knowledge of cancer program reporting activities
- Performing data collection and reporting on eligible cancer cases
- Assigning codes to the collected data set items in accordance with current state and national accrediting agencies
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Has a strong sense of duty, and is disciplined
- Appreciate clearly defined scope of work, responsibilities, and reporting relationships
- Ideally will possess an open, flowing communication style
- Certified Tumor Registrar in good standing with the National Cancer Registrars Association
