Job Summary
Virtual Care Coordinator, a full-time remote position responsible for checking in patients, collecting copays, managing insurance benefits, and scheduling follow-up appointments while assisting internal teams with customer service and scheduling efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Interface with patients/customers via telecommunications before, during, and after appointments
- Schedule patient appointments and perform data entry of protected health information
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines while assisting with various front office duties
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6-8 months of experience working in a similar role preferred
- Ability to operate a computer and basic office equipment
- Experience in customer service preferred
- Knowledge of business office procedures is a plus
