Job Summary

A staff augmentation company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Virtual CDI Coding Quality Specialist in Oak Brook.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Assuring compliance with external and internal measures for the CDI Program
  • Identifing areas of improvement for the CDI program
  • Ensuring quality work is being performed

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor' s Degree
  • 5 years in-patient coding and DRG auditing
  • 2 years experience in CDI; 3 years of experience related to DRG denials
  • CCS through AHIMA and CDI Certification (CCDS through ACDIS or CDIP through AHIMA)
  • Experience in developing in-patient teaching tools for physicians/NP/PA' s/Coding/CDI staff
  • All other requirements listed by company
