Job Summary
A staffing and recruitment firm is filling a position for a Virtual Certified Coder in Honolulu.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Identify, collect, assess, monitor and document claims
- Verify and ensure the accuracy, completeness, specificity and appropriateness of diagnosis codes
- Monitor Coding changes to ensure that most current information is available
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 2+ years of working as a medical coder
- Coding certification through AHIMA / AAPC
- Minimum of GED or High School Diploma is required and will be verified
- Excellent written verbal and communication skills
- Technically savvy
- High speed internet with good service available at your home
