Job Summary
An online education organization is in need of a Virtual Certified Colorado Special Education Substitute Teacher.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Communicate with parents, students and other teachers on a regular basis
- Complete all grading, generate progress reports, and conduct parent conferences
- Case manage a group of students, writing and delivering IEPs, and providing direct services
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Highly qualified and certified as a special educator in Colorado
- Understanding of IEP/504 plans and how they can be implemented in a virtual setting
- Ability to write and monitor IEP plans
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- May not be employed in another job during normal school hours while on assignment
