A staffing agency has an open position for a Virtual Certified Medical Coder in Baltimore.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Reviewing medical record information to identify all appropriate coding
• Verifying and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness of diagnosis codes
• Identifying, collecting, assessing, monitoring and documenting claims

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Coding certification through AHIMA/ AAPC is required
• Minimum of GED or High School Diploma is required and will be verified
• 2+ years of working as a certified medical coder
• Technically savvy
• High speed internet with good service available at your home
