Job Summary

An aviation and aerospace company is filling a position for a Virtual Chief Embedded Linux Lead Software Architect.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts to architect and deliver a common embedded Linux solution
  • Ensure all architecture artifacts are generated on-time and maintained
  • Collaborate with Chief Engineer and Chief Technologist to solve complex problems with informed technological solutions

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 10+ years experience in software development
  • 3+ Experience developing software architecture for embedded environments
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study
  • 5+ Years professional development experience in the C programming language
  • 3+ years of experience in developing Linux and/or Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) software
