Job Summary
A staffing and recruiting agency has an open position for a Virtual Christian and Inspirational Project Editor.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Manage project schedules and budgets
- Oversee editorial process by working with team members, freelance editors, copy editors, proof readers and designers
- Source, compile, create, and edit devotional books
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor’s degree in English. Minimum 5 years’ experience in publishing
- Ability to work with publishers’ representatives, authors and agents
- Ability to negotiate contracts for licensed published products
- Must be able to connect with authors/agents to source original content around themes to complement our products
