A global organization has an open position for a Virtual Climate Writer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Writing emails that inspire our audience to live out their values on caring for creation
- Writing blog posts that highlight the most salient aspects of a campaign or news story
- Writing press releases that connect with journalists’ interests and present our stories
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Experience in writing to satisfy a variety of needs and audiences
- Should demonstrate at least three years’ worth of experience in writing to suit a variety of needs
- Able to juggle multiple priorities and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Feel comfortable taking initiative, proposing ideas, and responding to others’ ideas
- Comfortable working in a faith-based organization
- Familiarity with adapting messages to cultural contexts
