Virtual Clinical Scribe

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Virtual Clinical Scribe - Pre-Charting Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough reviews of patient charts and prepare structured pre-chart notes in the EHR
• Identify gaps in care and support providers in care planning through complete chart preparation
• Collaborate virtually with providers to ensure documentation accuracy and maintain HIPAA compliance

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a health-related field preferred
• At least 1 year of experience as a medical scribe, clinical documentation assistant, or EHR support specialist
• Prior experience in cardiology and pre-charting is strongly preferred
• Proficient in medical terminology, medications, anatomy, and common disease processes
• Ability to work independently with a reliable internet connection in a secure home office environment
