Job Summary
A technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Virtual Cloud Services Architect.
Must be able to:
- Liaise with development and operations to communicate functional and non-functional priorities
- Ensure requirements are reflected appropriately in the Cloud architected design patterns
- Support SRE functions to best utilize cloud resources with software configuration management and continuous integration tools
Position Requirements Include:
- 7+ years’ experience designing and implementing large scale, global, complex distributed platforms and solutions
- 2+ years of cloud services architecture experience
- Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies across Windows and Linux
- Knowledge of infrastructure solutions, platform migration, system security, enterprise directories, and cloud technologies
- Capable of technical deep dives into infrastructure, databases, and applications as needed, yet cognitively agile enough to have strategy discussions with leadership and business application partners
- Knowledge of networking topologies and engineering, including DNS, Active Directory, firewalls, load balancers, and gateway devices
