Job Summary
Social services organization has a current position open for a Virtual Community Resource Navigation Specialist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Gaining an understanding of each inquirer's situation
- Developing and maintaining rapport with inquirers
- Helping inquirers prioritize their needs and build an actions plan
Position Requirements Include:
- Attends continuing education programs, department trainings and meetings
- Bachelors Degree in Social Work or related field (or degree in progress)
- Two to four years' experience in social services or related field
- Previous work experience in an environment where critical thinking and problem resolution skills were utilized
- Comfort with responding to people in crisis
- Computer literacy and chat, text and email proficiency
