Job Summary
An institute of higher learning has an open position for a Virtual Computer Science and Software Development and Security Adjunct Faculty Member.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Actively engaging students though frequent interaction that motivates them to succeed
- Guiding students in active collaboration and the application of their learning in problem- and project-based learning demonstrations
- Providing rich and regular constructive feedback, utilizing rubrics effectively for the assessment of student work, and acknowledging student accomplishments
Qualifications for this position include:
- Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution of higher learning
- Professional experience in Software Development and Security
- Experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education is strongly preferred
- Ability to meet the minimum technology requirements
- Ability to successfully complete institute's online two-week new faculty orientation
