Job Summary
An online magazine is seeking a Virtual Copy Editor.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Contributing to AIAC style guidance
- Editing 6-7 pieces of English language copy per week prior to publication
- Consistently editing for spelling, grammar, and language
Qualifications for this position include:
- College degree or equivalent experience
- Two years of professional copy or other editing experience, including for online
- Strong writing experience and communications abilities
- Ability to work in a virtual team but also independently
- Familiarity with or ability to easily learn online communication tools such as Slack and Trello
- English fluency
