Job Summary
An educational technology company is filling a position for a Virtual Customer Sales Director.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Win new business and develop existing accounts for the company within assigned territory
- Work independently and with business development resources to identify, qualify and close new business
- Develop, maintain and grow an ongoing sales pipeline
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Willingness to travel (30% plus)
- 5+ years of sales experience that must demonstrate the ability to exceed sales targets
- Must be comfortable demonstrating software and speaking to technical and non-technical executives alike
- Possess ability to prospect and manage a designated territory to maximize revenue growth
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply proven sales methodologies such as the CEB Challenger Sales approach
- Able to understand the client's complex needs and the solutions available to meet those needs
