Job Summary
An endpoint protection company is filling a position for a Virtual Cyber Threat Analyst.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Reviewing and developing detections that adhere to company performance and security standards
- Analyzing files and behavioral activity to determine if they are legitimate or malicious
- Analyzing and track ongoing criminal campaigns targeting customers
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Sound understanding of current and emerging threats
- Ability to demonstrate practical knowledge of security research
- Experience working with and manipulating large data sets
- Experience in a security operations center or similar environment
- Fundamental understanding of attributes of binary files on multiple operating systems
- Knowledge of programming and scripting languages, in particular, Python
