Job Summary
A learning company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Virtual Data Privacy Counsel Attorney.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide guidance, support and training on privacy and data protection legislation and regulations
- Prepare consents, notifications, data privacy contract terms and website privacy policies
- Support the North American business in keeping up to date with relevant, new data privacy development
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Hold a law degree from a well-regarded and accredited university or law school
- Be admitted to practice law in at least one state in the United States
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience as a practicing lawyer
- Detailed knowledge of data protection/privacy requirements, laws and regulations in North America
- Strong advocacy and negotiation skills
- Ability to make responsible decisions
