Job Summary

A software company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Virtual Database Administrator in Austin.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Administering the databases on the HPE NonStop Systems
  • Gathering requirements, translating those requirements, and implementing the design
  • Reviewing existing database access queries with an eye toward improving performance

Position Requirements Include:

  • 5+ years' experience as an NSK database administrator in an SQL/MP and SQL/MX environment
  • 5+ years' experience using Oracle's GoldenGate database replication tool
  • 1+ years' experience with Oracle database concepts
  • 1+ years' experience using Linux
  • 1+ years' experience using Oracle's Veridata data comparison tool
  • 1+ years' using database connectivity including ODBC
