Job Summary

An IT services company needs applicants for an opening for a Virtual DB2 Database Administrator.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Supporting the IBM ECM on Cloud organization in support of DB2 database server’s installation
  • Configuring and performing problem management resolution of issues of systems for production readiness

Qualifications Include:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Linux and Windows environments is desired.
  • Experience on MS SQL Servers
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Installing configuring DB2 LUW with HADR in High availability mode using TSA
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various backup procedures including storage level replication
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Disaster Recovery Procedures
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
