Virtual Design and Construction Specialist

Job Summary

Collaborating with clients and colleagues, the full-time salaried Virtual Design and Construction Specialist will design exceptional restaurant spaces using VDC and BIM technologies while managing project setups and providing technical support remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Singer Hub on Forma by setting up folders and permissions for various divisions
• Create and analyze BIM Execution Plans while participating in BIM Coordination Meetings
• Support VDC projects through BIM modeling, clash detection, and resolving coordination issues

Required qualifications

• Associates or Technical Degree in Drafting, CADD, or a related field; Bachelor's degree in design preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in foodservice equipment design, with mechanical systems experience preferred
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, AutoCAD, and MS Office applications
• Basic understanding of general construction practices and ability to read blueprints
• Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
