Virtual Desktop Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Virtual Desktop Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (AVD) environments
• Implement infrastructure in accordance with NIST 800-53 and DoD STIG security controls
• Optimize virtual desktop performance and troubleshoot related issues

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:

• Experience in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) for pooled and personal deployments
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, FSLogix, and profile management
• Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Intune, and Defender 365
• Comptia Security+ or greater IAT certification
• BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related IT discipline, or equivalent experience
