Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Expert

Job Summary

A company is looking for a part-time Virtual Desktop Strategy Contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the internal expert on VDI platforms, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and security policies
• Provide implementation support by partnering with stakeholders and vendors, and conducting User Acceptance Testing
• Translate technical details into actionable guides and assist with internal training and documentation

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in supporting or implementing VDI solutions in an IT infrastructure role
• Proficient with VDI technologies such as Amazon WorkSpaces, Microsoft AVD, or VMware VDI
• Experienced with desktop virtualization, networking, and security best practices
• Hands-on experience with mixed desktop environments (Windows and Mac)
• Ability to communicate effectively between technical and business stakeholders
