Virtual Diagnostic Specialist
Job Summary
To educate healthcare providers on genetic testing initiatives, the full-time Virtual Diagnostic Specialist will work remotely, focusing on raising awareness of sponsored testing programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing training and advocacy to stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Educate healthcare providers on genetic testing and identify educational needs within the IRD healthcare community
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement the U.S. diagnostic strategy
- Engage with Genetic Testing Key Opinion Leaders and provide training on testing programs and resources
Required qualifications
- BA/BS required; healthcare degree (MS, RN, PA, PharmD, PhD) strongly preferred
- 3-4 years of experience in pharma/biotech within commercial, clinical/medical, or diagnostics
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and virtual meeting technologies
- Experience collaborating with KOLs and stakeholders in a diagnostic context
- Knowledge of ophthalmology and experience in rare diseases preferred
