Virtual Diagnostic Specialist
Job Summary
Educating healthcare providers on genetic testing initiatives, the full-time Virtual Diagnostic Specialist will work remotely to establish diagnostic expertise, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and advocate for genetic testing programs.
Key responsibilities
- Lead education on genetic testing and identify educational needs within the healthcare community
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement U.S. diagnostic strategies
- Engage and train healthcare providers and key opinion leaders on genetic testing resources and best practices
Required qualifications
- BA/BS required; healthcare degree (MS, RN, PA, PharmD, PhD) strongly preferred
- 3-4 years of experience in pharma/biotech, clinical/medical, or diagnostics
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and virtual meeting technologies
- Experience collaborating with key opinion leaders and stakeholders
- Knowledge of ophthalmology and experience in rare diseases preferred
