Job Summary

A technology company has a current position open for a Virtual Distributed Systems Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Helping build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction
  • Developing, maintaining, and testing globally distributed systems
  • Maintaining and evolving the data clients

Qualifications Include:

  • Experience with compiled languages like Go or C/C++
  • Experience with pub/sub style message queues such as NSQ, Kafka, Google Pub/Sub, Kinesis
  • Experience in projects related to low-latency data collection and analysis
  • Experience with relational and non-relational storage systems
  • Experience with software engineering best practices
