Job Summary

A staffing and consulting firm is filling a position for a Virtual Drone Applications Software Engineer in Charlotte.

Must be able to:

  • Develop Mission Planner software that gives the operator a GUI and serial connection to the aircraft
  • Customize features for the drones so that the customer does not need to customize the drone themself

Qualifications Include:

  • 4+ years of C# and/or C++ programming skills
  • 3+ years of Microsoft Visual Studio as an integrated development environment
  • Windows APIs in Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
  • Experience in scripting languages like Python or Perl
  • Drone knowledge to include drone hardware, drone software, and/or drone MAVLink
