Job Summary
An independent private school offering an international curriculum and language program from preschool through 12th grade has a current position open for a Virtual Elementary Grades 2 and 3 Teacher.
Must be able to:
- Teach District approved curriculum daily
- Develop lesson plans and instructional material and provide individualized and small group instruction
- Adapt the curriculum to provide differentiation to individual students and small groups
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor of Arts or Science degree from an accredited four-year college
- A valid teaching license with a K-6 Teacher Elementary Classroom or content specific endorsement(s) (e.g., K-8 Art, K-8 Music, K-8 Physical Education) through the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners
- Job related experience (i.e. student teaching, practicum) is required
- Current teacher certification through the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners. Endorsement(s) in content area(s) as prescribed by the BOEE
- Maintain required teaching certification
