Job Summary
An education company is filling a position for a Virtual English Language Arts Content Specialist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Creating fair and balanced test forms regarding item type, complexity, context, and representation
- Editing and reviewing English Language Arts assessment items for digital and print products
- Facilitating and participating in user research projects such as teacher item reviews and student cognitive labs
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Experience creating assessment items that adhere to the Universal Principles of Design
- Bachelor's degree in English and/or Writing or English Language Arts education required
- Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Must have 5-7 years of reading/ELA assessment editing experience
- Experience aligning content to the Common Core State Standards and to individual state standards
