Job Summary
An educational company is in need of a Virtual English Language Arts Content Specialist.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Editing and reviewing English Language Arts assessment items for digital and print products
- Ensuring that items adhere to writing guidelines and specifications as well as style guidelines
- Ensuring item alignment to state standards
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 5-7 years of Reading/ELA assessment editing experience
- Experience aligning K-8 English Language Arts content to state standards
- Experience with writing and completing editorial reads on rigorous assessment items and passages
- Specific teaching and/or assessment editorial experience in early childhood and/or grades K-2
- Experience in foundational skills such as phonological awareness, phonics and word recognition, and fluency
- Bachelor’s degree in English and/or Writing or English Language Arts education
