Job Summary
We are looking for a Sales Associate to join our team to grow the number of organizations using VirBELA's unique products for hosting virtual events. Working anywhere in the United States, you will meet with prospects in our publicly available virtual workspace--the VirBELA Open Campus. In this unique and exciting environment, you will blend outbound and inbound sales skills.
Description
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Meet or exceed new sales objectives
Prospect and cold call into a mixture of outbound, inbound, upsells, and expansions
Effectively qualify leads and identify prospect needs
Educate customers on the value of VirBELA through demos, presentations, and proposals
Build new business by leveraging new and established customer relationships
Maintain the CRM to provide timely and accurate sales activity tracking and status updates
Resolve client issues in a timely and thorough manner; escalating issues as appropriate
Keep informed of the competitive landscape and its impact on organizational goals
Engage in the larger community of the market by attending events and networking with target organizations
Requirements
Education:
BA/ BS in Business or related field preferred
Experience:
1+ years of sales experience in a Technology company (Direct SaaS/ Cloud selling preferred)
Demonstrated presentations skills to all levels of company leadership
Must have strong verbal skills with consultative professional business acumen
Experience working in a startup environment bringing a new SaaS product to market preferred
