Job Summary

An insurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Virtual Field Property Claims Adjuster in Indianapolis.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Investigating and resolving personal lines property damage claims via phone and face-to-face
• Handling claims in accordance within prescribed authority and adhering to best claims practices
• Submitting severe incident reports, reinsurance reports and other information to claims management as needed

Required Skills:

• Must be willing to work irregular hours and to travel with possible overnight requirements. Must be available to work catastrophes (CAT)
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• Must have state licensing where required and successful completion of required/applicable claims certification training/classes
• Three to five years related property claims experience
• General knowledge of insurance theory and practices, and contracts and their application
• Proven ability to meet customer needs and provide exemplary service
• Must have solid knowledge of Xactimate
