Virtual Field Representative

Job Summary

To support the commercialization of Vertex Pharmaceuticals therapies, the full-time Virtual Field Representative will engage healthcare providers remotely through teleconferences and telephone calls, delivering key clinical information and educational materials while fostering relationships and addressing stakeholder needs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver education-focused messages and disease-state information to healthcare providers
• Partner with Vertex employees to build and execute business plans while enhancing awareness of products and clinical data
• Achieve call activity and brand performance objectives while maintaining accurate database entries on customer interactions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• 2+ years of sales experience in outbound virtual/tele-sales or field sales, preferably in healthcare or pharmaceuticals
• Strong sales aptitude with documented results and understanding of the office call process
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Able to learn complex medical topics and adhere to compliance guidelines
