Virtual Field Representative

Job Summary

To support the commercialization of Vertex Pharmaceuticals therapies, the full-time Virtual Field Representative will engage with healthcare providers via teleconference and telephone, delivering key clinical information and educational materials while fostering relationships and addressing stakeholder needs in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver education-focused messages and disease-state information to selected healthcare providers
• Partner with Vertex employees to develop and execute business plans while enhancing HCP awareness of products
• Maintain accurate database entries on customer interactions and ensure compliance with company guidelines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• 2+ years of sales experience in an outbound Virtual/Tele-sales or field sales role, preferably in healthcare or pharmaceuticals
• Strong sales aptitude and documented sales results in competitive markets
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Able to learn complex medical topics and engage confidently with healthcare professionals
