Virtual Field Representative

Job Summary

Responsible for the commercialization of Vertex Pharmaceuticals therapies, the full-time Virtual Field Representative will engage healthcare providers via teleconference and telephone to deliver key clinical information and educational materials while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver approved educational messages and disease-state information to healthcare providers (HCPs)
• Partner with Vertex employees to build and execute business plans, enhancing HCP awareness of products
• Maintain accurate database entries on customer interactions and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• 2+ years of sales experience in outbound Virtual/Tele-sales or field sales, preferably in healthcare or pharmaceuticals
• Strong sales aptitude with documented results in competitive markets
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to learn complex medical topics and engage confidently with healthcare professionals
