Virtual Financial Aid Specialist

Job Summary

Managing financial aid disbursements and Return to Title IV (R2T4) calculations, the full-time Virtual Financial Aid Disbursements and R2T4 Specialist will ensure accurate and compliant processing of federal student aid while collaborating remotely with school administrators across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate financial aid disbursements in compliance with federal regulations
• Manage withdrawals and refund processing, including R2T4 calculations and documentation
• Partner with schools to support day-to-day operations and resolve financial aid inquiries

Required qualifications

• Experience administering federal financial aid and strong knowledge of Title IV regulations
• Proficiency in financial aid and student information systems, with experience in FAME software preferred
• Strong attention to detail and disciplined approach to auditing and validating information
• Effective communication skills for building relationships with school administrators and colleagues
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
