A public sector tech media company is in need of a Virtual Government and Education Staff Reporter.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Building relationships with CIOs and technology leaders
• Writing multiple news stories each day
• Contributing to and creating long term editorial projects

Qualifications Include:

• A bachelors degree in journalism
• Four years of professional daily journalism experience as a reporter or editor
• Familiarity with higher education and/or government technology topics
• Impeccable communications and organizational skills
• Strong knowledge of social media strategy, SEO, multimedia journalism
• Strong knowledge of AP style and data journalism
