Job Summary
A manufacturing company has an open position for a Virtual Hand Tool Product Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Develop innovative hand tool products and lead engineering activities for New Product Development
- Generate 3D Models for developing concepts and for production release in Creo (Pro-E)
- Hands-on testing and inspection to root cause problems
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3-5 years of related experience in product design and development
- 3 -5 years of experience in 3-D CAD and 2D drawings
- Experience with materials, manufacturing, machining, plating processes
- Foundational knowledge of Metallurgy, Statics, Strength of Materials, FEA
- Exposure to engineering documentation such as BOMs and Engineering Releases
