Job Summary
A technology-enabled coding services provider needs applicants for an opening for a Virtual HCC QA Coding Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Ensure that QA percentages are within acceptable ranges
- Organize and prioritize work in order to meet job demands
- Manages coding guidelines
Qualifications for this position include:
- This is a seasonal project (Sept 2018-January 2019)
- Must have at least 3 years of active HCC coding experience post credential
- Current CPC, CCS, RHIT, or RHIA or equivalent through the AAPC or AHIMA required
- Must have at least 3 years of ICD-10 coding experience
- Must have at least one year of active HCC QA review/auditing experience
- Candidates will be required to pass a Risk Adjustment Coding Test
