Job Summary
A health insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Virtual Health Insurance Configuration Systems Analyst I.
Must be able to:
- Document benefit or reimbursement solutions, workflow processes, and provide training and support to end users
- Assist in troubleshooting problems with and/or functionality and utilize appropriate resources for research and correction
- Participate in the quarterly review, design, and update to Facets of new CPT, HCPC, and diagnosis codes
Position Requirements Include:
- Associates degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience is preferred
- Minimum of two years of health plan experience including one year of configuration experience
- Or familiarity of coding, managed care benefit/claim reimbursement methodology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, Access and Visio
- Understanding of DRG and APC reimbursement methods
- Understanding of CPT, HCPCs and ICD-CM Codes
