Job Summary

A health insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Virtual Health Insurance Configuration Systems Analyst I.

Must be able to:

  • Document benefit or reimbursement solutions, workflow processes, and provide training and support to end users
  • Assist in troubleshooting problems with and/or functionality and utilize appropriate resources for research and correction
  • Participate in the quarterly review, design, and update to Facets of new CPT, HCPC, and diagnosis codes

Position Requirements Include:

  • Associates degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience is preferred
  • Minimum of two years of health plan experience including one year of configuration experience
  • Or familiarity of coding, managed care benefit/claim reimbursement methodology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, Access and Visio
  • Understanding of DRG and APC reimbursement methods
  • Understanding of CPT, HCPCs and ICD-CM Codes
